Favorite Horror Sub-Genres:

  • Hauntings (Ghosts)

  • Found Footage

  • Tech Horror

Ever since I can remember, I have always loved the horror genre, from Are You Afraid of the Dark tv show to what I believe was my first horror movie, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. My mom has always been my horror movie buddy. She introduced me to them! We loved going to the movies on Saturday afternoons to watch new horror movies, now we love to do at home movie nights through streaming. It's amazing the catalog that is out there. We scream, laugh, and talk about all the horror movies we watch and now we want to share it with you.

I can't pinpoint which horror movie was the very first that I saw. But there are three that stand out in my mind, that I credit with opening that Pandora's Box - The Birds, Lady in a Cage and Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte. And while those movies by today's standards would be considered psychological thrillers, at the time I saw them and given the era in which they debuted, they were horror movies. Then along came The Exorcist and I was possessed by and obsessed with the horror genre. Apparently I passed this on to my kid, and with that the debut of horror movie night. Which we indulge in at least once a week, every week. The rest is history... now we are venturing into the world of podcasting and sharing our obsession with horror movies.
